垂れ込めた鈍色の雲に追い立てられ家路をいそぐ。洗濯物を取り込まなくては。買い物袋は重く両肩 に痛いほど食い込んでいる。前のめりに歩くその道すがら、ふと目の端にはいった路地奥の小さな公園。花々が色とりどりに咲き乱れている。私は思わず足をとめた。雨は今にもふり出しそう。そうして私は全てを忘れた。
日々の隙間、ふと立ち現れる花々を描いた水彩画と、長らく並行して描き続けてきた線画を展示いたします。

Driven by low, leaden clouds, I hurry home. I have to take in the laundry. The grocery bags are heavy, cutting painfully into both shoulders. Walking with my body hunched forward, a small park at the end of a side alley suddenly catches the corner of my eye. Flowers are blooming there in a riot of color, meticulously tended by someone’s hand. I stop in my tracks. Rain is about to fall at any moment. And then, I forgot everything.
I will be exhibiting watercolors of flowers that suddenly appear in the gaps of daily life, alongside line drawings that I have been creating in parallel for many years.
